SAY WOW by Karina von Ende stands for the extraordinary, not the mundane. I’m out when it comes to gold-plated steaks: luxury isn’t a tool for self-promotion – it’s an attitude. Only those who live luxury authentically reveal their true values. That’s why, for example, I write personal messages exclusively with a fountain pen. It’s important to me to give the content meaning and my own personal touch. The same goes for my work: SAY WOW stands for emotional works of art that transcend the mundane. I’m happy to do without ostentation – but never without style, elegance, and poise.
A Passion for Creativity
Even as a child, I sought out beauty and aesthetics everywhere: in the sound of the piano, in photographs, and in the colors of nature. At age ten, I would lose myself in Vogue-Magazines for hours; at 13, I held my first Leica in my hands. These creative roots continue to guide me to this day. My sense of aesthetics and composition helps me, as a wedding planner, to visualize emotions and thereby touch people’s hearts.
Cultural diversity
I was born by the Caspian Sea and grew up in Moscow. I lived with my family at my grandparents’ estate – a spacious house that was always open to guests, where business partners and friends would regularly gather around a huge dining table. I first lived with my mother in Tel Aviv before we moved to Germany, specifically Hamburg. During that time, I spent a year at Schloss Salem School and a semester in Canada, graduated from high school, and went on to college. Today, I live with my family in the southern part of Munich. To this day, I love bringing people together and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels included and seen.
Making happiness visible
Hochzeit ist für mich der Inbegriff von Ver- bundenheit – ein Ereignis, das auf Zusammenhalt und gegenseitiger Unterstützung beruht. Restlos klar wurde mir das während eines längeren Aufenthalts in Tel Aviv: Als ich für ein jüdisches Paar eine Hochzeit plante, konnte ich diese tief empfundene Freude spüren, die im Ausruf Mazel Tov! steckt. Da verstand ich die wahre Bedeutung des Ausdrucks, der zu jeder jüdischen Hochzeit gehört: “Dein Glück wird von uns allen gesehen und geteilt”. Das ist so viel mehr als ein Glückwunsch. I studied real estate management in Hamburg. Through my work at Engel & Völkers, I was able to build on my sense of aesthetics and style while deepening my knowledge of design and architecture. Today, I can recognize the atmospheric potential of a space at first glance. I know how to imbue an architectural structure with emotional depth and delicate sensuality, so that every location takes on a pulse all its own. Can you feel your heart beating?
